Who is Who?
The leadership team of New Song Network is a varied, creative group of people passionate about the work of this new and growing community. Some are linked to other churches and others see New Song as their church. This is the strength of this enabling and developing ecclesial community.
Rev'd Linda Bishop
I was born in Manchester and worked for Action for children (NCH) for 22 years as a child protection social worker before undertaking ministerial training. I was ordained in Leicester in 2004 and I have served in three circuits.
God called me to ministry when I was 13 years old and despite traversing many wrong pathways God never left me and continued to call me. I was blessed to become a mum in 1994 when Naomi was born and spent the last 23 years having fun, and making memories.
I love life and I am down to earth, enjoy good food and being in the company of friends. I'm a culture vulture enjoying all kinds of live entertainment. I love to travel and sit in village coffee shops enjoying real tea and lemon cake.
I trust the Lord with every aspect of my life and seek to have a deeper relationship with him/her daily. This next step in my journey is exciting as God called me and brought me to the Sankey Valley circuit, I look forward to working with you to build the kingdom. Every blessing.
Mrs Jayne Adamson
Jayne has recently become the lead co-ordinator for New Song.
She also supports Discipleship, leading worship a few times each year alongside others.
She heads up the Learning and Caring group.

Ms Chris Cooper
Chris is church treasurer and as such is a rep to the Circuit Meeting.
Mrs Dianne Clarke
Dianne is the Gift Aid co-ordinator and Pastoral co-ordinator.
​Mrs Fran Heald
Fran co-ordinates our music, singing with our worship bands at New Song Café and Breakfast.
She is a worship leader and is developing our work with children.
Mrs Linda Ogden
Linda is a local preacher and also attends Rixton Methodist Church. She is the Worship co-ordinator and enjoys working with children.
Mrs Jane Otterson
Jane is a Methodist local preacher who has led worship and Bible studies at NSN but now she has also become the Senior Circuit Steward; we wish her well in her circuit role.

Mrs Alice Squires
Alice has the important job of Safeguarding co-ordinator. If you wish to contact her please use the email here. She is also heading up the Hot Drinks Ministry and she is a great baker!

Mrs Kit Heald
Kit enjoys all she does in the church: working with children, being a worship leader, leading house group and Bible studies, learning new technology. She has recently retired from many of her admin roles but remains on the Leadership Team for the time being.

Alan is the person we turn to for large scale catering. Along with his wife Gill, Dave, Sue, Chris and Catherine they will produce a 3 course meal for 100 people at the drop of a hat.
