In November the Methodist City Centre Network met just outside of London for a conference and Jackie spoke at a seminar on Modelling Excellence. A great opportunity to spread the word on how New Song is leading the way in many aspects from worship to learning and caring, from service to evangelism. Our governance structure focuses on this area as we give our lay leaders full authority to make a difference.

New Song on BBC Radio 4 & Songs of Praise

New Song Netowrk Update October 2014

In September New Song featured on the Radio 4 Programme "Whats the Point of Methodism?"  As part of a series examining British Institutions - Quentin Letts explores the ongoing purpose of them. This time it was the Methodist Church under the spotlight. In the midst of statistics on decline we are asked are we still relevant? And up popped New Song Network Church . We cry out yes we are. We are not just about cake and singing despite what some people think. We are about service and honest care and love and God trasnforming lives.  A few weeks later new member Gill shared her testimony of how God has transformed her life on BBC Songs of Praise  - Good news all around.
