"Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvellous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him".
Psalm 98:1
New Song Network is a developing community based in Warrington committed to exploring and living out the gospel message of Jesus.
We believe something wonderful is happening within this new community – God is moving, lives are being transformed, people are joining us. This fills us with a great sense of anticipation and excitement for the future and what God has in store for us.
We invite you to come and join us for worship and discover for yourself this excitement. Our mission statement as a church is ‘Loving God, Loving People, Making followers of Jesus’
We are committed to providing a quality worship experience where people can meet with God, learn more about Him, and encounter His love.

There is a regular format to each month's worship as follows:
1st Sunday of the month will be All Age with some practical ideas for the younger participants. This will start at 3.30pm - the usual time for New Song Kids when we meet.
2nd Sunday will be a testimony service
3rd (and 5th) Sunday will be on various themes including Christian music-makers
4th Sunday will be NewSongCafé@Home
Apart from the 1st Sunday all others will start at 7pm
For full information each week go to 'New Song Network' FB page and click on 'Events' or see further down this column.
SONG LINKS: A new page with links to all the songs we sing from the beginning of September 2020 has been set up here. Don't worry though the previous 2 pages where you can find old favourites are still online here and here.
Links are also on our YouTube channel however this is not being updated at the moment as I am unable to log in and am a little bit perplexed as to how to progress with the issue :(
FINANCES: Like all organisations at the moment New Song is struggling regarding finances. Here's one way you can help .... and perhaps buy yourself that new journaling Bible!

WORSHIP
On Sunday evenings we have New Song @ Home.
Go to the Events section of the New Song Network Warrington Facebook page and click on the date of the worship or event you want to be part of. Then be sure you are on the Discussion tab.
Please note that this isn't a live feed, so you are looking for posts not one video link. Feedback has also suggested that you need to refresh after each link has been put up, so that you get the next post.
Comments will help us to build the fellowship together.
Join us in this 'different' way of worshipping!
The worship sessions are being put together by different people and groups. All the songs are listed as usual here and you will find that there are many new songs as well as some old (in some cases very old!) favourites. There have been some real insights into people's faith journeys and you are all welcome to engage with our worship.
Rev Linda Bishop has set up Warrington Methodist Worship group on FB and will be offering daily reflections, music, prayer, links and comments.
In addition there will be live Sunday worship at 11am.
You are very welcome to post to the group.
PRAYER
The prayer chain is in regular use and Jayne sends out an email at the beginning of each week so please send prayer requests and any other queries to newsonginfowarr@gmail.com
KIDS
Resources for children will be sent out regularly to families who currently attend NSK and will continue for as long as it takes. These connect up with the 1st Sunday worships.
If anyone else would like copies of these please make contact through the email address.
OTHER EVENTS
Other events are occasionally planned and will appear on the FB page. All are welcome to join in.
SUPPORT
Following the closure of buildings where worship takes place we have been looking at different ways we can keep in touch to ensure we continue to grow in our faith and in our fellowship.
We don’t want anyone to feel alone or abandoned and Rev Linda Bishop and the Leadership Team will continue to support our members and community as best we can remotely. Please do let us know if you need any help – we have received many offers of assistance from those who are able to do shopping, give you a phone call if you are self-isolating or feeling isolated or do any errands. We have even had the offer of a Ukulele tutorial DVD and a spare Ukulele to practice on!
The New Song Facebook page and group and this website will continue to provide up-to-date information.

A prayer to help us during this challenging time:
Loving Father, be with us now as we start to feel the impact of things closing, particularly our opportunities to worship together and share fellowship with friends.
Help us to see this as a new opportunity, a real gift of time and a chance to be mindful and live ‘in the moment’, enjoying each day as it dawns with the sound of birdsong, new spring flowers and at the end of March, increased daylight hours. Help us to replenish our energy levels and feel refreshed in your love as we press the pause button and listen to your calling rather than rushing from one task to another. We pray for those who may feel isolated and alone; guide us Loving Father to be able to discern where there is a need and how to meet that need as we learn new ways of outreach and being a Christian in a different way. Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.
With every blessing, Rev Linda Bishop and the New Song Leadership Team.
We are from a variety of backgrounds and are accountable to, and part of, the Methodist Church of Great Britain.
